Happy days for Bessie
Well, despite snow, rain and a chilly winter, Bessie has had many happy days meeting lots of new people over the last few months. We are certainly ready for the summer but here are just a few snaps of what we have been up to.

Friends get together to enjoy a vintage afternoon tea. Bring out the linen and china! Bessie’s own blend of tea and home made goodies

I just love this picture of Bessie created by Neil and Nigel Wallace of ‘White one Sugar’ – aren’t they so talented. Key rings, note cards, pictures and magnets can be purchased very reasonably with more products in development.

The delightful Quex gardens provided the perfect spot for Bessie to nestle amongst the trees for the day at the Quex Vintage Fair. Despite a snowy start customers ventured outside for vintage buys and a warming cuppa in Bessie

Friends find a warm and cosy welcome and a hot cuppa in Bessie in between shopping at the Quex Vintage Fair

Bessie is all ready at the first ever Broadstairs Spring Food Festival. Snowy weekend didn’t stop the crowds arriving

Little Stour Orchard apple juice was popular at the Broadstairs Food Festival – serving lovely hot spiced apple and sold by the bottle

These little lovelies came for breakfast, lunch and tea with their daddy – do you know they didn’t spill a thing or drop a crumb (not that I would mind if they did!) Adorable

I say, that’s how to arrive at a vintage fair. I met some lovely people at Haguelands Vintage Festival and served tea and cake for many hours

After a long and difficult winter of neglect Teddy has now come to live with us – Bessie has a buddy

An amazing day at Deal Brocante organised by Walmer Parish Council – and what a good job they did too. Fantastic location on a glorious sunny day. This is what it’s all about!

Surely record crowds turn out for a wonderful event in Deal – the whole town must have come out to say hello and buy a cake from Bessie of course
