What Bessie Does

Bessie is a unique and beautiful little vintage caravan. She can help to make your day special so why not hire her for:

  • A photo booth for celebrations – props add a fun dimension to your wedding or event photos
  • A prop for photo shoots – Bessie can be hired for magazines, film or fashion
  • A special afternoon tea with homemade cakes -mothers day, girls day out? On our smallholding with horses, goats, chickens and ducks near to Wingham or down on the farm by ancient woodlands and the river.  If you prefer, Bessie can come to your own location  A vintage afternoon tea menu
  • Serving champagne or cocktails at your event – what a wonderful photo opportunity for your guests
  • Birthday parties / weddings – sweet jars, candy floss, cup cakes, vintage tea cup favours, cherry / plum brandy or sloe gin
  • A day in the country to yourself with a Kentish produce picnic – no phones, no TV just the beautiful Kent countryside
  • Events – Bessie sells home-made cakes and vintage wares

Hiring Bessie:

Bessie (and her owner) can be hired for £295 per half day and £495 per full day for private events.  Travel up to 15 miles is included, additional mileage is charged at 50p per mile.  A half day is up to 4 hours, including set up time and a full day up to 8 hours.  If you require something inbetween I am very flexible and would love to help.

Weddings commence at £495.  Bessie can form a backdrop for your photographs, I can serve your welcome drinks and provide props for fun and informal wedding photographs with a vintage twist.  In addition to Bessie, I can provide you with delicious home made food – savouries and cakes or just a few cupcakes for your little guests.  I have a vast collection of vintage china and linen that I hire for your special event.

Tea parties start at £15 per head plus £35 per hour on our own site and £60 for an hour on a location of your choice. Package details can be sent to you to choose from upon request but of course you can tailor make your special event.
