Sloe Gin and Cherry Brandy at the ready

After growing our own cherries and sloes, gathering them in and preparing them for a long winter in brandy / gin, sugar and spices the long awaited tasting arrives.  The sloe gin was sold within half an hour of opening – I must make much more!
